FORTES ARTISTIC PRODUCTIONS
Fortes is a production company which prioritizes projects that are related to cultures and it is focused on bringing the audience to the Theater. Theater is created and produced for all kinds of public by Fortes. The function is to combine social work with artistic work as the goal is the transformation of the human being.
In Fortes' history it can be highlighted two great shows that marked Rio’s cultural scene: Jefferson Schroeder's A Produtora e a Gaivota, with João Fonseca as director, and the musical 'Dancer in the Dark', a show based on Lars Von Trier's movie, directed by Dani Barros. Both shows were critics and public success, having received many awards and made incredible seasons. In addition to theatrical performances, Fortes' projects are focused on moving, sowing, articulating and developing serious accessibility work on and off stage, seeking not only cultural entertainment but also bringing a movement of social inclusion.

LUIS ANTONIO FORTES
Actor, cultural producer and businessman, Luis Antonio Fortes is behind Fortes Produções Artísticas.
Graduated from CAL (Casa das Artes de Laranjeiras), Luis has a long history in the artistic field and has worked with directors such as Inez Viana, Dani Barros, Renato Carrera, Adriano Garib, Celina Sodré, Marcelo Moratto among others.
In 2009 she started working as an actor and assistant director in the shows of director Inez Viana and in 2010 she founded together with her, Cia OmondÉ, Cia who has in her curriculum the plays “The Conchambranças de Quaderna” by Ariano Suassuna (premiered SESC Ginástico-2010), “Os Mamutes” by Jô Bilac (premiered at SESC Arena Copacabana 2012) and in 2013 premiered “Not Even Every Ocean” by Alcione Araujo at SESC Arena and opened the Alcione Araujo Theater at the Parque Estadual Library in August 2014; “Jô Bilac's Childhood, Shots and Feathers (Sesc Ginastico) in March 2015 and“ Os Inadequados ”, by Cia OmondÉ, directed by Inez Viana (Teatro Ipanema) in June 2016.
He was also assistant director of the shows “Amor Confesso” by Arthur Azevedo (Shell nominated for best direction), “Nothing About the Invisible” by Paulo Scott, “Wedding Dress” by Nelson Rodrigues, directed by Renato Carrera (SESC Ginastico 2013) and “Maravilhoso” by Diogo Liberano, directed by Inez Viana, who had his debut at the 2013 Curtitiba Festival and the CAL graduation shows, “Divinarias” by Jean Genet and “Paraíso Zona Sul” by Jô Bilac, both directed by Inez Viana.
He was assistant director of “Cock-Cock Fight” by Mike Bartalett, which premiered at Teatro Poeira (RJ) and later at Sergio Porto Theater (2014/2015);

Since 2013 teaches theater classes for the elderly with Inez Viana at Galpão Gamboa;
He was nominated the best supporting actor by Os MAMUTES, at FITA (Angra International Theater Festival), in 2012.
